This tutorial was written in psp 8 but can be done in other verisons.

You will need: Supplies Zip HERE, which includes: Misted Image by Zindy S.D. Nielsen http://zindy.zone.dk(this image is one of the 20 free images found at Zindy's site, other images/tubes can be found at My PSP Tubes, Pattern by me and Mask by Mar's Design Masks .

Dsb Flux (bright noise) HERE.

Ok, let's get started :o)

Open your mask, pattern and zindy image in psp and then open a new image 350 x 400, white background, Layers>New Raster Layer and floodfill with black.

Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image (psp 7 Masks>New>From Image) and find MD-mask-214.jpg in the drop down menu and Source luminance, Invert mask data both checked:~

Layers>Merge>Merge Group (you don't need to do this in psp7) Copy and paste the Zindy Misted Image as a new layer, position it into place and drag it below your masked layer on your layer palette.

Copy and paste the Pattern as a new layer, position it into place and drag this below your image and above your background layers on your layer palette.

If you want to resize it the best time would be to do it now to stop the copyright and name text from going blurry ;o) If you choose to resize now, make sure that Resample using Bicubic and Resize all layers is checked ;o)

Add the artists copyright info and your watermark etc. I used Visitor TT2 BRK HERE size 9, colour white, and added it to the bottom as vector, then converted to raster layer ;o) Make sure that anti-alias is checked and that this layer is on the very top ;o)

Next add your name, I used a Kingthings font called Pique'n'Meex, it can be downloaded from HERE, I used black as the foreground colour and white as the background colour and added a large blurry drop shadow to bring out the text ;o)

Layers>Merge>Merge Visable, grab your magic wand tool and select the blue parts of the eye, (psp7 hold down your shift key, other versions select Add (Shift) in the Mode to select multiple parts) you may want to zoom in to get all of it ;o) (don't worry if it selects the white part inside the pupil, which it probably will lol)

Layers>Duplicate 2 times giving you a total of 3 merged layers and on the top layer apply Effects>Plugins> Dsb Flux, Bright Noise with these settings:~

On the middle layer apply the same bright noise settings but click the mix button twice, repeat again for the bottom layer and this time hit the mix button 3 times.

Selections>Select None

Next select the lips, I also used my lasso tool for this ;o) and apply bright noise to all the layers as above but changed the Intensity to 15, remember to hit the Mix button each time you apply to each layer ;o)

Selections>Select None and save as psp file in a folder where you can find it! ;o)

Open Animation Shop and open the file that you just saved, check that it plays ok and save as gif and we're done! :o)

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial :o)
